     Using the Shopping List

    Adding Items to the List

When you start the program you will see the main screen.
The Left hand side of the screen is a list of items grouped into areas - expand the area by clicking the + sign to see the items in that group.
The right hand side of the screen (the main part) is the list you will create, and it is currently empty.

There are many ways to add items from the main list to your list. You can:
  • Double click an item on the LHS list to add it to your list
  • Tick the check box to add it
  • Select the item and go to the Item menu and select 'Add Item' (or just press [CTRL] [INS] keys together)

Once you've created your list you can edit the item details by double clicking your item on the right hand side of the main screen.

You can manage the list of items from the buttons across the top of the left hand side - you can create New lists, Rename lists and Delete lists.

Click the Done button when you are finished.

Note, that all these lists are simple text files which can also be edited with a text editor (not Word) if you prefer.
